In addition to Universal's plans
to reboot their classic monster movies and create a shared cinematic universe
with it, Fox is also planning to use author Mary Shelley's creature and create
a tv show based on it.
According to Deadline, Crisis and
Life creator Rand Ravich was hired by Fox to pen the pilot episode for the
show, which will pull from Shelley's novel and focus on the corrupt FBI Agent, Adam
Tremble, who is brought back to life by an "antisocial Internet billionaire"
and "his
bio-engineer twin sister". Younger and stronger, Adam must now
decide whether to return to his past life, or honor this second chance and handle
"threats
beyond the FBI's capabilities".
I hope there is more to the show
than this, because this has formulaic and generic written all over it. What do
