Yesterday reports suggested that DC Comics were
pitching a Supergirl tv series with Michael
Green attached to produce and write, and today comes confirmation via E!
Online, who also cautions that "according to
insiders, there is no deal yet in place, however the series is not expected to go to the CW, who was
first pitched the project, and who, of course, houses both Arrow and The Flash."
It's not confirmed but it sounds as if the network passed
on the show, which is a shame because having Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl
inhabit the same shared universe would be pretty cool, but I'm guessing the
network doesn't want any more risks, considering it's already taking one with
the big budget and CGI-heavy The Flash.
