Legendary Pictures have closed
the deal with the Godzilla (2014) screenwriter Max Borenstein for him to pen
the sequel, which according to the studio will feature Rodan, Mothra, and King
Ghidorah.
Borenstein was also taped by the
studio to pen the King Kong sequel Skull Island. Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts
is already attached to the project, as is Tom Hiddleston in the lead role.
Godzilla 2 is schedule to open on
June 8, 2018.
