Marvel
have announced three new Star Wars comic books for next year, called
Star Wars, Star Wars: Darth Vader, and Star Wars: Princess Leia.
Star
Wars will be launched in January and will be done by Jason Aaron, and
John Cassaday. Star Wars takes place after the destruction of the
first Death Star, as Luke, Leia, and Han battle Darth Vader.
Star
Wars: Darth Vader, will be told from the perspective of the iconic
villain as he attempts to regain control of the Empire, after its
defeat by the Rebels in a New Hope. The book will be launched in
February, and will be done by Kieron Gillen, and Salvador Larroca,
with covers by Adi Granov.
Finally,
in March, Star Wars: Princess Leia will come out, and it will follow
the Princess as she sets out on various mission following the
destruction of her home planet, Alderaan. Mark Waid, and Terry Dodson
are attached to the project.
