Brandon Routh Joins Arrow Season 3 As The Atom

After the less successful Superman Returns, Brandon Routh returns to the comic book genre, as the recurring character, scientist Ray Palmer, aka The Atom, in the upcoming third season of Arrow.

An unparalleled scientist and inventor, Ray will play an unexpected role in the lives of Oliver and (rumored love interest) Felicity as the new owner of Queen Consolidated. Palmer’s plans for Queen Consolidated’s Applied Sciences Division will be shrouded in mystery.

Routh joins other newcomers, Devon Aoki who will play Katana, Karl Yune as Katana's husband and Oliver's handler, Maseo Yamashiro, and Peter Stormare as the new Count Vertigo.

Arrow returns on October 8.
