Currently in production in
Atlanta, Georgia, the second entry in the adaptation of author Veronica Roth's YA novels, Insurgent as added
Naomi Watts to its cast.
Watts will play
Evelyn, the leader of the Factionless, in both Insurgent and Allegiant Parts I
and II.
The actress will join Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Kate Winslet, Octavia
Spencer, Jai Courtney, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort,
Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, Suki Waterhouse, and Jonny
Weston.
In the thrilling sequel to DIVERGENT, INSURGENT
continues the journey of Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) as war now looms. Sides
will be chosen, secrets will emerge, and to uncover the truth about her world,
Tris must be stronger than ever because shocking choices and sacrifices lie
