Back in December is was rumored that Game of Thrones
star, Jason Momoa was in talks for an unidentified role in Zack Snyder's Batman
v Superman: Dawn of Justice, then last week news came via HitFix that the actor
was going to play the King of Atlantis, Aquaman. THR now confirms that Momoa
will indeed be playing the character in Batman v Superman and then in Justice
League. Both movies will be filmed back to back.
The actor joins Henry
Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams,
Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, and
Ray Fisher.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
opens on May 6th, 2016.
