The Latino Review is reporting that Zac Efron is being
eyed for an unspecified role in an upcoming MCU project. The news outlet also
says that the actor recently received a script.
The website goes on to speculate roles for the actor
and gives Daredevil, Dr. Strange, Adam Warlock, Black Bolt, Namor and Man-Thing
as possibilities.
Namor, Man-Thing and Black Bolt seem to me like a
stretch (which LR also says), but Daredevil, Dr. Strange and Adam Warlock are strong
possibilities, with the later to me being the strongest. I'm not seeing Mr.
Efron going back to tv to play Daredevil, and unless Marvel has decided to make
a young Dr. Strange, i'm not seeing the actor sporting a mustache. On the other
hand, the actor looks like he could pull off an Adam Warlock.
Anyway, these are just speculations and rumors and the
actor might end up playing another character or nothing, but...
