After weeks of pushing to direct the
third entry in the Star Trek franchise reboot, Roberto Orci has managed to sign
on to helm the project. According to Variety, Orci, who is currently writing
the script for Star Trek 3 with J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay, has been taped by
Skydance and Paramount to helm the project.
