Walt Disney's Studios Chairman Alan Horn was
interviewed on April 2nd by Stephen Galloway from The Hollywood Reporter at
Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television in Los Angeles.
During the interview, Galloway asked Horn about the status on the upcoming Star
Wars: Episode VII.
As far as the casting goes Horn said that it's getting
there, still some pieces to fill but nearly there. The chairman then revealed
that they have actually begun shooting, and although he didn't specify what,
where and with who, there was a semi-rumor about two weeks ago about Star Wars
possibly be shooting some footage in Iceland, before the announced May 14th
start of production.
Horn pointed out during the interview that getting the
script right was a priority, "It's all about the screenplay. It has to
be screenplay, screenplay, screenplay."
