Well we are back once again for another Box Office
Weekend. Captain America: The Winter Soldier premiered this past Friday and as expected,
it didn't disappoint, managing to gross $96 million and change, surpassing
Thor: The Dark World's opening act and just shy of Iron Man 3. For the rest, Divergent
and Non-Stop are already safe from bombing, as is The Grand Budapest Hotel and God's
Not Dead, which surprisingly continues strong. On the other hand Noah, Muppets
Most Wanted, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Need for Speed and Sabotage are
struggling.
Of the list are other openings like Scarlett
Johansson's sci-fi thriller Under the Skin, which opened with a petit $140,000
or Jude Law's Dom Hemingway with a $32,000.
