Late last month we reported that Star Wars veteran and icon Peter Mayhew, was likely to appear in J.J. Abrams Star Wars: Episode VII. Now THR confirms that the actor will indeed return to reprise his role as Chewbacca.

new trio of young heroes alongside some household names.
