According to Deadline Brad
Pitt might be on his way to star in his third World War II movie. In 2010 the
actor starred in Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds, this year he will be
leading David Ayer's WWII tank film Fury, which opens on November 14th, and now
he might be interested in an untitled romantic thriller set in that time.
The outlet says that Pitt is circling the film, which was written by
Steven Knight (Eastern Promises) and that “it’s serious and that a big director
will be set with an eye toward starting production early next year.”
The actor has the sequel to World War Z (which he not only starred in
but also produced) to think about and is currently being eyed for Go Like Hell
and Pontius Pilate, so it will be interesting to see if he takes a break from the
wars movies or continues.
