Two weeks ago The CW revealed the
first official image of the Flash wearing the costume, which was designed by
the Oscar winning designer Colleen Atwood. Now in this new image we can fully
see what the character will be donning in the upcoming Arrow spin-off series
The Flash, and I don’t know…too much leather? I think it needs a better profile,
but fans of the character need to deliberate on it.
“I hope the fans who treasure the
character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has
achieved with this latest version of The Flash’s iconic suit,” said the pilot
director and executive producer David Nutter.
The spin-off series stars Grant
Gustin as Barry Allen, aka The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Jesse L. Martin
as Iris's father, Detective West, Michelle Harrison as Barry's mother Nora
Allen, Rick Gosnett as Central City Police Detective Eddie Thawne, Carlos
Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Danielle Panabaker as S.T.A.R. Labs bioengineer Caitlin
