John Boyega Up For Miles Dyson's Son Role On Terminator: Genesis

Earlier this month John Boyega's (Attack the Block) name was mentioned in a rumor about him being up for a role in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII, and now according to THR's Tweet by Borys Kit, the actor is also being eyed for Terminator: Genesis.

According to the message Boyega is being eyed to play the son of Miles Dyson, the Cyberdiyne engineer, who was largely responsible for setting up Skynet.

Originally actor Joe Morton played the character in Terminator 2: Judgment Day and later on actor Phil Morris stepped into the same shoes in the tv series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Directed by Alan Taylor, Terminator: Genesis stars Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. Actor J.K. Simmons is currently in talks for an unidentified role.

Terminator: Genesis opens on July 1st, 2015.
