In these past seven days we have witness
the addition of three new characters and the watched the first two teasers for
Disney and Lucasfilm’s next animated series Star Wars Rebels and now the studio
has revealed the final member of our group heroes.
Voiced by Vanessa Marshall, Hera
is an ace pilot, fighter and the heart of the crew, and according to CG
Supervisor Joel Aron, Hera is:
"I think she really makes flying the
Ghost look easy," "She knows how to talk to them to get the best out
of themselves and to be part of that team," Aron says. "That to me is
the commander of a ship."
"Every time we get a
script," says Marshall, "I am breathless with anticipation. I cannot
wait to read what's next because I want to see where we're going, too."
Star Wars Rebels is set between
Episodes VIII and IV, but closer to IV in a time where the Empire is pretty
well established and is looking to expand to the Outer Rim territories and the
beginnings of the Rebellion.
Star Wars Rebels is set to
premiere in the Fall of 2014 as an one hour special on the Disney Channel and
then as a regular series on Disney XD channels around the World.
