Last week we reported that NBC
had ordered the pilot for another series based on a DC Comics property,
Constantine and that David S. Goyer (Man of Steel) and Daniel Cerone (The
Mentalist) were writing it.
The property upon the series is
based on is pretty dark as it deals with supernatural phenomenon like,
monsters, possessions, etc… but when this types of shows are adapted to the big
or in this case small screen, they usually go a little bit softer.
In an recent interview to IGN,
NBC Chairman Robert Greenblatt, spoke about what we can expect from the series
and what tone will it have.
"I don't know the DC comic
very well, but there is dark, interesting stuff in it, but it’s also got some
witty banter. It's a fun tone, although the supernatural stuff is scary."
Greenblatt was also asked about a
possible crossover with the other DC comic based series like Arrow and The
Flash on The CW and the upcoming Gotham on Fox.
"Cross-network is really
hard. It's hard enough to do it within your network. I think let us see how the
pilot goes before we answer that question!"
