A few weeks ago it was revealed that the yet untitled Batman vs. Superman will be the largest project ever shot in the Michigan state, since production will occupy all seven soundstages of the Michigan Motion Picture Studios in Pontiac plus some additional location shooting that may be needed.
Now a few more details have
surfaced regarding the highly anticipated sequel. According to the Michigan
Film Office, Michelle Grinnell, the film’s budget is a hefty $131 million,
which doesn’t include additional location shooting, post-production, marketing,
etc….
Grinnell also mentioned that the
film is expected to bring roughly 6.000 jobs to the local economy.
There are also some reports that
film will be shooting some scenes in Yorkville, Il, where there was a bit of ruckus
back in November when a new Kent Farm was erected.
Batman vs. Superman stars Ben
Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy
Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Martha Kent and will
open on July 17th, 2015.
