After leaving the world of motion capture animation behind with three fairly unsuccessful movies, Polar Express, Beowulf and A Christmas Carol, director Robert Zemeckis may once again be heading that way with and adaptation of author Kate DiCamillo’s children’s book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, which follows the adventures of a porcelain rabbit.
Last
year the director returned to the world of live action feature film with the successful
Flight, which earn actor Denzel Washington and writer John Gatins nominations
for an academy award but we may now lost him again, but not before the director
helms the adaptation of the documentary Marwencol (see here).
