Michael
B. Jordan has become one of the most talked about actors of this year, thanks
to this summer’s brilliant Fruitvale Station and last year’s Chronicle.
So far
the rumors put him in a good position for Independence Day 2, almost playing
Johnny Storm in Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot and reading for J.J. Abrams
Star Wars: Episode VII.
In a
recent interview to the Huffington Post the actor confirmed that he had went to
read for J.J.’s Star Wars: Episode VII and pretty much said the same thing that
actress Saoirse Ronan said when asked the same question.
“I
mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they
want. That’s another incredible franchise. It’s pretty crazy! … We’ll see how
it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”
Regarding
the Fantastic Four reboot, the actor couldn’t be more clearer:
"Definitely
interested in the project," Jordan says of the reboot. "Josh Trank is
a buddy of mine."
About
Independence Day 2, nothing so far.
Jordan's next role will be the Rocky spin-off film Creed.
