Fox’s attempt to reboot the Fantastic Four franchise seemed to have stalled just a bit. When Fox got Chronicle director Josh Trank to helm the project, they also got writer Jeremy Slater to write the script, then development continue for about a year in which they hired writer Seth Graham-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) to polish the screenplay, and hen when every seemed ok, the inevitable rumors surrounding the cast started to appear with Michael B. Jordan, Allison Williams and Milles Teller, but now out of nowhere a new writer comes a board to do a “significant” rewrite on the script.
Per
HV, the new writer is Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), who not only
will be rewriting the script but will serve as a producer as well.
The Fantastic
Four reboot is scheduled to open on March 6th, 2015, but with this
possible delay it may get pushed back to another date.
