With two Quicksilver’s running to the big screen in two completely different movies, Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past and Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron, many are wondering how different will both takes on the character be. Well about Age of Ultron he can say, but X-Men he can and he did.
In a
recent interview to i09, actor Evan Peters talked about his character,
Quicksilver, how he looks and how he shot him.
About
the looks Peters answered “Yes”, when asked if he would have silver hair like
in the comics; “Yeah. Yeah, it’s cool.” He then added that the character will
be in the majority of the film in civilian clothes, including a 1970’s jeans
and “a pretty sweet jacket”.
Peters
went on to talk about the way Singer filmed Quicksilver and his superspeed:
"It's
quite a big room," he says of the stage designed to film in slow-motion.
"It's super, super, super, super slomo. You can see raindrops frozen in
the air. Stuff like that. It's amazing how that camera works... You don't do
anything differently other than try to keep your eyes open in the bright light.
And try to make it look cool, I guess."
