Check
out the trailer for the new Star Wars Graphic Novel, which was written by J.W.
Rinzler and drawn by Mike Mayhew, at Dark Horse Comics. The story is an
adaptation of an early draft of Star Wars, by George Lucas, in which “General
Luke Skywalker and newcomer Annikin Starkiller joining forces to combat the
Galactic Empire.”
Because
it’s based on a draft made three years prior to the movie, some of the characters
are somewhat different to what fans are used to, for instance Darth Vader doesn’t
wear the dark costume and Han Solo is an alien.
The
first issue out of eight will be available through their digital store on
September 4th.
