Many
fans of the big green machine were a little bit disappointed after watching the
previous two films of the Hulk, but his resurgence in The Avengers might be the
break he finally needs to have a good, solid movie.
The 2003
Hulk, directed by Ang Lee and starring Eric Bana as the Hulk was a little poor
on the story side and even worse on the CGI, and the big hulkish dog… what the
hell.
The 2008
Hulk directed by Louis Leterrier was better on the CGI but had some bad plot
points and in some cases the lack of them; I mean why the hell did Emil Blonsky
subjected himself to be inject with weird enhancing drugs that would ultimately
change him into Abomination?
Nonetheless
Hulk is a cool character with lots of potential and if used in a similar way as
in The Avengers, a solo movie would be something really good to see.
Now
to the question at hand. Will there be a World War Hulk?
“We
certainly are not even going to attempt that until Avengers 2.", says Marvel’s
Studio President Kevin Feige. Well after seeing the latest trailer for Thor:
The Dark World I would say that World War Hulk is probably a given, and you might
be asking yourselves what does Thor: The Dark World has to do with a future installment
of the Hulk, well… I give you Krog, a friend of the Hulk and one of the
characters in World War Hulk.
World
War Hulk is “An epic story of anger unbound! Exiled by a group of Marvel
"heroes" to the savage alien planet of Sakaar, the Hulk raged, bled
and conquered – rising from slave to gladiator to king. Now, the Hulk returns
to Earth to wreak his terrible vengeance on Iron Man, Reed Richards, Doctor
Strange and Black Bolt — and anyone else who gets in the way. Stronger than
ever, accompanied by his monstrous Warbound gladiator allies and possessed by
the fiercest and purest rage imaginable, the Hulk may just tear this stupid planet
in half! Then in AFTERSMASH, heroes and monsters rise and fall as the events of
"World War Hulk" reverberate through the blasted ruins of New York
City with goliath impact. It’s a massive story featuring the Warbound, the
Renegades, Heroes for Hire, Iron Man, Tom Foster, and Damage Control.” – Source

Is
much better story then the two previous movies, and yes we need to give a break
to the first one, which although not great it was the origin story for the character.
But wouldn’t it be great if they actually do make this movie?
