Also
at Disney’s D23, there was the reveal of the voice cast for the highly anticipated
sequel or spin-off Finding Dory. Andrew Stanton, the director of Finding Nemo
returns to occupy the director’s chair in a film that counts with Diane Keaton,
Eugene Levy and Ty Burrell.
The story
for Finding Dory focusses on Dory finding her parents (Keaton and Levy),
roughly a year after the ending of Nemo.
According
to some reports (possible spoilers), the end to the movie, which has a release
date for 2015, might be changed. The changes occurred because of a recent
SeaWorld documentary called Blackfish, which depicts SeaWorld’s involvement in
the abuse and wrongful capture of Killer Whales, aka Orca, aka Blackfish.
According
to the report the proposed ending depicts Dory’s parents choosing between
staying in captivity at a marine park or being free.
At
this point there is a high possibility that the ending might change but there
no official word from Pixar.
