Century Fox has released the first trailer for their upcoming X-Men spinoff
project The New Mutants.
Directed
by Josh Boone ("The Fault In Our Stars"), the film follows five young
mutants who must band together in order to break out of a secret government
facility.
The
movie is inspired by characters created by Chris Claremont and artist Bob
McLeod in 1982.

Anya Taylor-Joy ("The Witch") as Illyana Rasputin/Magik, Maisie
Williams ("Game of Thrones") as Rahne Sinclair/Wolfsbane, Charlie
Heaton ("Stranger Things") as Sam Guthrie/Cannonball, Blu Hunt ("The
Originals") as Danielle Moonstar/Mirage, Henry Zaga ("13 Reasons Why")
as Roberto Costa/Sunspot, Alice Braga ("City of God") as Dr. Cecilia
Reyes, and Happy Anderson ("Gotham") as Reverend Craig, The New
Mutants opens in theaters on April 13, 2018.
