After a incredibly promising
directorial and screenwriting debut with 2009's A Single Man, Tom Ford is finally
back behind the camera with the "haunting" and "intoxicating"
drama Nocturnal Animals.
Based on the Austin
Wright novel Tony and Susan, Nocturnal Animals is a haunting romantic thriller
of shocking intimacy and gripping tension that explores the thin lines between
love and cruelty, and revenge and redemption. Academy Award nominees Amy Adams
and Jake Gyllenhaal star as a divorced couple discovering dark truths about
each other and themselves in Nocturnal Animals.
Opening in theaters smack
in the middle of awards season on December 9, Nocturnal Animals also stars Armie
Hammer, Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Karl Glusman, Laura
Linney, Andrea Riseborough, and Michael Sheen.
