Scottish actress Lindsey Duncan has
landed a role on the third and final season of Damon Lindelof and Tom
Perrotta's enigmatic television series, The Leftovers.
Details on the actress' character are being kept under wraps.
Duncan, whose credits include roles
on Doctor Who, Birdman, Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock, Merlin, and Come Fly
with Me, joins Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler,
Chris Zylka, Margaret Qualley, Carrie Coon, Janel Moloney, Kevin Carroll, Jovan
Adepo and Regina King.
The show is currently in Australia
finishing filming the last part of the third season, which will air sometime in
2017.
