This past Thursday
during an appearance on The Late Show with James Corden, Sharon Stone ("Basic
Instinct") revealed that she has a role in an upcoming Marvel movie.
"I am going to
do a Marvel movie," Stone replied when asked if she would ever consider
being part of a Marvel movie. The answer caught Corden and fellow guest and
Captain America: Civil War star Sebastian Stan off guard, prompting the host to
ask if the actress' revelation was an exclusive.
"I’m just doing
a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can’t tell, because you know, you
have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I’m going to do a wee part in a
Marvel movie now. That’s it."
The actress didn't
elaborate any further, however
she did seem to imply in the last sentence that the project she is joining either is
already in production or will be in the foreseeable future. If that's true then we
may be able to narrow down the possibilities to a few Marvel Cinematic Universe movies such as Doctor Strange, Guardians of
the Galaxy Vol. 2, or Thor: Ragnarok. On the other hand, Stone could instead be joining one of the
Marvel movies from 20th Century Fox.
