I guess sometimes all it takes
is a children's book to fill in some of gaps and help compose the bigger
picture. While we fans have been speculating about what Lawrence Kasdan and J.J.
Abrams have come up with for Star Wars: The Force Awakens a Look and Find book has
revealed a few tidbits of information that shed some light over part of the story.
First things first it seems that
Max von Sydow is playing a character named Lor San Tekka, a man in possession
of critical information to the Resistance, the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker.
Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac)
meets with Lor on the planet of Jakku, where before being ambushed by the First
Order, they place a message inside Dameron's BB-8 and send him off.
Moving to Lupita Nyong'o's Maz
Kanata, who apparently is Han's old mentor. Allied with Finn (John Boyega) and
Rey (Daisy Ridley), Han travels to Maz' castle on Takadona, where he hopes she
can help them in their mission to return BB-8 to the Resistance. However, the
castle comes under fire by First Order troops led by Captain Phasma (Gwendoline
Christie). But Resistance's General Leia Organa sends in a squadron of X-Wing
fighters, and they save the day, but not without losing Rey and BB-8 to Kylo
Ren (Adam Driver).
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
opens on December 18.
