Tim Blake Nelson has joined Anne
Hathaway in Nacho Vigalondo's (Los Cronocrimes, V/H/S: Viral) upcoming sci-fi
indie, Colossal. In the film, Hathaway plays a woman who moves back to her
hometown after losing both her boyfriend and job. There she realizes that she
is somehow connected to a giant lizard type monster that has show up in Tokyo
and in good Godzilla fashion is wrecking up the place.
According
to Deadline, Nelson will play a known drug addict named Garth.
Also
starring Austin Stowell, Colossal is currently in production in Vancouver. No release
date has been announced.
