Almost, almost.
Per Deadline, Marvel Studios and Mark Ruffalo are closing in on a
deal that would see the actor reprise his Green Goliath role in Thor's third
solo outing, which according to the site will be directed by Flight of the
Conchords and What We Do In The Shadows director Taika Waititi, though the last
I heard he was still in talks and no deal had been signed.
Rumors of
Hulk being in Thor 3 started to pick up earlier in the week, and they also
included the possibility of perhaps including some elements of the much debated
Planet Hulk storyline.
The Thor
franchise has been growing in popularity ever since it first started. The first
movie was directed by Kenneth Branagh and grossed $449.3 million, while the
sequel, directed by Alan Taylor surpassed that and went on to gross $644.8
million.
Thor:
Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
