
Jenna Dewan-Tatum as joined the cast of CBS' upcoming
Supergirl series as Lucy Lane, a "brash, funny and successful in her own
right. In keeping with DC Comics lore, she will also be an ex-girlfriend of
Jimmy Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), Kara’s new CatCo media conglom colleague."
In the comics, Lucy is Lois Lane's sister and one of a
number of other characters to have used that name including her own sister.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum is best known for her work on Step
Up, The Grudge 2, American Horror Story, and Witches of East End.
Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara
Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of
keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman
abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
Premiering on October 26,
Supergirl also stars Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant,
David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Owain
Yeoman as Vartox, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, Faran Tahir as
