Danish
actor Casper Crump has joined the cast of DC's Legends of Tomorrow as the first
season's main villain and the threat that led to the creation of the superhero
team, Vandal Savage.
Savage
is an "immortal, having spent the past 6,000 years moving like a virulent
disease through history, whispering in the ears of despots and dictators, all
leading to his eventual domination of the world."
Crump
will first appear in the crossover episode between The Flash and Arrow before
jumping to The CW's new superhero show.
DC's
Legends of Tomorrow is the American debut for the actor, who will star as
Captain Kerchover in David Yates' July 1st, 2016 re-adaptation of Edgar Rice
Burroughs' Tarzan.
