Deadpool star Gina Carano has confirmed that See No
Evil 2, Seventh Son, and upcoming Warcraft stuntman and actor, Andre Tricoteux is
playing Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin, aka Colossus
in the upcoming film. Carano, who is playing the mutant Angel Dust, revealed
the casting of the 6' 10½" actor via her twitter account.

This isn't the first time the character
has been put on the big screen. He first had a cameo in Bryan Singer's first X-Men, but
it was only in the 2003 sequel with Daniel Cudmore that we saw him in action.
Cudmore, who already confirmed that he won't be returning to the franchise,
continued to play the character throughout the X-Men franchise, minus First
Class.
Opening on February 12, 2016, Deadpool also stars T.J.
Miller as Weasel, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Gina
Carano as Angel Dust.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional
anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative
turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment
that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool.
Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts
down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
