WWE star Stephen
Farrelly, aka Sheamus has joined the cast of director Dave Green's (Earth to
Echo) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 as Rocksteady.
The wrestler was spotted
filming a scene opposite fellow henchman Gary Anthony Williams, who is playing
Bebop.
Opening on June 3,
2016, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will see the return of Megan Fox (April O'Neil), Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick),
Alan Ritchson (Raphael), Noel Fisher (Michelangelo), Pete Ploszek (Leonardo),
Jeremy Howard (Donatello), Danny Woodburn (Splinter), and Tony Shalhoub
(Splinter voice).
Joining the franchise
are Tyler Perry (Baxter Stockman), Stephen Amell
(Casey Jones), Laura Linney, Brian Tee (Shredder),
Brittany Ishibashi (Karai), and Judith Hoag, who played April O'Neil in the
90's TMNT films.
