After revealing that John Gallagher, Jr, Tony
Goldwyn, Melonie Diaz, John C. McGinley, and Michael Rooker had joined The
Belko Experiment, screenwriter and producer James Gunn has announced via his
Facebook account that his brother Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), Steve
Agee (The Sarah Silverman Program), Adria Arjona (Person of Interest), and
Owain Yeoman (TURN) have also joined the upcoming horror flick.
Adria Arjona
will be playing one of the most pivotal characters in the film, Leandra Jerez,
an American of Colombian descent who works as Barry Norris's Chief Executive
Assistant.
Owain will
be playing Terry Winters, a British family man, whose relationship to his
family at home versus the close friendships he has in Belko are set against
each other.
Sean Gunn
will play Marty Espenscheid, a stoner cafeteria worker who has his own ideas
about who is behind Belko. In the film Marty's best friend is Chet
Valincourt, played by one of my best friends, Steve Agee.
The Belko Experiment will be directed by Greg McLean
from a script written by Gunn, and will start production in just a few days in
Bogotá, Colombia.
