When
the first unofficial set photos of Deadpool started to come in, fans immediately
recognized the scene from the test footage that leaked months earlier. However,
while speaking to Canadian TV Network CBC News, executive producer Aditya Sood
reveals that there are differences though it's basically the same sequence. Sood
also spoke about the shooting schedule for the viaduct sequence, and apologized
to the city and inhabitants for being so accommodative.
Opening
on February 12, 2016, director Tim Miller's directorial debut also stars T.J.
Miller as Weasel, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax, and Gina
Carano as Angel Dust.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the
origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson,
who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with
accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new
abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who
nearly destroyed his life.
