What Are Bobbi And Mack Hiding In Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Last night on the season return of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) mysterious plan took one-step forward when they scanned for Nigh Fury's toolbox hidden in Director Coulson's office. Are they Hydra? What's their endgame? The plot thickens.

"It’s not wrong to assume it," said executive producer Jed Whedon in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "We’ve all been burned by Hydra before. We’re a little shell-shocked."

Adrianne Palicki chimes in and adds that "whatever they’re doing, they think is the right thing." Fellow co-star Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) also adds that, "It’s not necessarily malicious, but you have to keep an open mind. Hitler thought he was doing the right thing," to which Palicki replies "good point."

Henry Simmons on the other hand says that "this secret that they have is gonna have quite an impact on the team." 

Blood interjects once again and says that Hunter doesn't believe a word that comes out of Bobbi's mouth.

"He knows her too well to believe anything she says, really, he’s always on guard, always suspicious. With most people, and probably particularly with her, he’s been let down too many times in the past to take it on face value. When you care about someone, you want to believe that they’re telling you the truth. He wants to believe her."

So they could be Hydra, they could be working for Fury, or they could be an anti-Coulson faction within S.H.I.E.L.D.
