Morena Baccarin Is Copycat In Deadpool Movie

Deadpool star Morena Baccarin has apparently confirmed her role in director Tim Miller's upcoming adaptation of Marvel Comics, Deadpool.

The actress sent out a tweet of a photo of her set chair which has the Deadpool logo on it as well as her character's name, Vanessa.

Meanwhile, Deadpool's creator Rob Liefeld also chimed in and revealed that Vanessa's first comic book appearance was in New Mutant #98, which seems to indicate that Vanessa is Vanessa Carlysle, better known as the shape-shifting mutant called Copycat.

Opening on February 12, 2016, Deadpool stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, T.J. Miller as Jack Hammer, aka Weasel, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, and Gina Carano, and Ed Skrein in still unknown roles.
