According to The Wrap, Boardwalk Empire, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Men, Women
and Children actor Travis Tope is in talks to join the cast Roland Emmerich's Independence
Day 2 as Charlie. At this time no other details about the character are known.
The sequel already counts with original cast members Vivica
A. Fox, and Jeff Goldblum, whom are joined by Liam Hemsworth as Pullman's
son-in-law, and Jessie Usher as Fox's son.
Independence Day 2 opens on June 24, 2016.
