Lionsgate
has announced that the final installment of The Hunger Games mega franchise
will be released in IMAX 3D. "The crystal-clear images, coupled with IMAX’s
customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio, create a unique
environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie."
Despite
being the highest grossing film of 2014 in the US, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
- Part 1 is still shy from what the previous entry did, so I'm guessing this
measure is to bump up the box-office grosses of the final entry and end the
franchise with a bang.
