Despite early skepticism Gotham has managed to finds
its audience rather quickly, and all of thanks to its different approach to the
subject and continuous introduction of popular if yet slightly different from
the source material characters.
The second part of the first season will feature the
introduction of "John Grayson and Mary Lloyd, teenage circus
performers who will figure into Episode 16 and hint at the origin of a certain
Boy Wonder."
The following episode will introduce yet another
Dollmaker, Dr. Dulmacher who has been "conceived as a mad European scientist". The same episode will see the
introduction of Reggie Payne, "an old army buddy of
Alfred’s who has gone a bit to seed."
