The Resident Evil franchise production company, Constantin Film is planning
to develop a tv spin-off of the famous film series, which starred Milla
Jovovich in the lead role.
Production on the next installment in the Resident Evil franchise was supposed to start this summer but was delayed due to Jovovich's pregnancy.
In addition, the sequel to Mortal Instruments: City of Bones will be coming
to tv and not theaters. The company is weary of putting out a sequel to a film
that flopped at the box-office and decide to do a tv series based on the City
of Ashes instead.
