A few days ago Marvel teased saying that a massive
announcement was going to be made at this year's New York Comic-Con. Well until
something else pops-up I'm classifying the following as it, a new Secret Wars is
on its way, with words by Jonathan Hickman and pencils by Esad Ribic.
The brand new Secret Wars will be a year-long event
starting in May 2015 after the conclusion of the current run of Avengers, and
New Avengers storylines, Time Runs Out.
The image below is the creation of Alex Ross and it
features various different incarnation of some of Marvel's biggest names, and
according to Marvel Senior VP of Publishing, Tom Brevoort, they are not random
and we should expect much, much more.
"However massive you think this
is, let me assure you it is bigger than that. It's by far the craziest thing
I've dealt with."
