While at TIFF to promote 99 Homes, The Amazing
Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield was asked by the Toronto Sun whether he will be
in Drew Goddard's Sinister Six film or not.
“I know more than I’m allowed
to say right now,” said Garfield. “I can say I’m really excited about Drew
Goddard, who’s going to be writing and directing The Sinister Six movie. And
whether I’m involved in that or not is kind of immaterial.”
“I don’t know if I should say
anything right now. But Drew is really exciting. Did you see Cabin in the
Woods? Did you like it?” Yes the news outlet responded while saying that
they wished they knew less about the movie going in because of the twists, to
which the actor replied saying “Exactly,” Garfield said with a grin. “Hence,
me not telling you s--- about that.”
Despite Garfield promoting the director/writer, and so
bluntly denying commenting if he's in the film or not, did it made any sense to
you?
The Amazing Spider-Man 3 has been pushed back to 2018, with The Sinister Six, and maybe Venom coming to theaters first.
