Our memory of Daniel Radcliffe as the boy who
survived, Harry Potter is starting to slowly fade away as the actor continues
to take on different and out of the box characters, like in this instance Ig
Perrish in director Alexandre Aja's adaptation of
Joe Hill's novel, Horns.
In the film, Radcliffe plays a small-town guy who in the
awake of his girlfriend rape and murder finds himself with a pair of horns,
which "help him to force confessions out of people, in the hope of finding
his girlfriend’s rapist and killer, clearing out his name and subsequently
avenge his girlfriend."
Horns opens on October 31st, and also stars Juno Temple,
James Remar, Kelli Garner, Max Minghella, Heather Graham, and David Morse.
