Today,
the website for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar suffered a massive
update. Visitors who go to the website are greeted with a “Look
Around You” and “The Answer Lies Above Us” messages, and they
are granted the opportunity to rotate the 360º image of one of the
film's key locations. What's interesting about this particular use of
interactivity is that it is based on the visitor location and local
time, meaning that I have a night sky, while you might have midday
sun.
Some
people have discovered some cool clues while investigating the
updated site, like a series of pulsating stars that seem to represent
the historic Apollo 11 Moon landing date of July 21st,
1969, but there are bound to be more, can you find them?
Interstellar chronicles “a
group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to
surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast
distances involved in an interstellar voyage.”
