Clint Eastwood's biopic about the 1960's rock and pop
group The Four Seasons drops to ten in regards to last weekend's countdown,
where it was in eighth. Director John Carney's Begin Again rises through the
ranks from fifteenth to ninth. Maleficent is still holding on in eighth and is getting
ready to hit the $ 700 million mark, if it stays in theater that is. Scott
Derrickson's horror film Deliver Us From Evil sits in seventh. Earth to Echo continues
in sixth, as does How to Train Your Dragon 2 in fifth, and 22 Jump Street in
fourth.
Melissa McCarthy's comedy, Tammy drops from second to
a comfortable third.
Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction drops
from first to second, but continues to make buttloads of money.
And in first is what many consider to be the best
movie of the year so far, director Matt Reeves' Dawn of the Planet of the Apes,
which hit the North America box office estimates and made over $100 million
worldwide.
