The last I heard, which was last year, the Deadpool
movie had a script by Zombieland scribes, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, a director, Tim Miller, and a star Ryan Reynolds.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on where your allegiants lies, the
movie was never greenlit.
Now, two new updates have surfaced. Before I proceed,
go to the kitchen, grab the saltshaker, and pour it in your mouth.
According to KDrama Stars, Ryan Reynolds, who had been
attached to the project for years, has left the project.
"…as
reported by the Philadelphia Tempo, Ryan Reynolds is not attached to the
project anymore and Deadpool aka Wade Wilson would be recast."
Reynolds not being attached to project isn't a huge
surprise, what is a surprise is that they also claim, that fans should expect a
teaser for the Deadpool movie.
"fans should expect the Deadpool movie teaser to be similar to the
Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser shown at last year's comic con where it was just
3d objects with a voice over ending with the logo of movie."
I would
say it is improbable that even a teaser a la Age of Ultron for Deadpool will be
shown at this year's SDCC, but never say never. A few weeks ago producer Lauren
Shuller Donner said that they were working on the budget, and rating for the
movie.
What do
you think?
